Create your story!

Yes, I have begun working on my new educational project, dAuthor of Tomorrow, a guide for all writers and authors to help you (re)gain inspiration and work your way towards creating their very own, unique novels, stories, worlds and characters. This author's guide is, of course, free and available to everyone on dA and beyond. All parts, as they are finished, will be posted here on dArchives as well as in my own gallery, so that they are easily found whenever you might need them.

So far, the introduction is finished, and it will mainly explain what the guide will be about and how I'm going to structure it. I am working on part one, which will focus on inspiration, right now. It shouldn't be very long before it's up, but I don't want to rush it. These guides are to become the best possible, and I'm putting my heart and soul into writing them, for my own help as well as everyone else's.

I'd be very thankful if you would stop by, read and leave a comment on the introduction which you find below, so that I know what you think of it so far. Constructive critique is always helpful!

dAoT: IntroductionWelcome, future author…
Because you are reading this, it probably means that you are a writer, that you plan on becoming one or dream of becoming one. If you aren't a writer, then telling you that you're not far from becoming one could be considered a lie. Writing is easy, being a writer is much harder. If you already are a writer, you know what I'm talking about.
But please, don't be discouraged by this. That is what this guide is for — to help you find your way into or back into writing. This will not be a step-by-step instruction to how you write, telling you what you can and cannot do. While you read this guide I hope to help you find your inspiration, get creative, work out your own organization plan and tackle obstacles on your journey to creating your very own, unique novel or story.

Various updates

I have begun working out ideas for how I'm going to design the BETA Reader IDs, and creating application forms that any member of this group can fill out to become a BETA Reader.

Furthermore, we aren't at all many members at the moment, but that will hopefully change! If anyone has any thoughts on how we can spread the word about dArchives, please comment and tell. We need to grow deeper into the deviantART community to gather as many literature artists, authors and writers as possible. :D

This looks helpful! (:

So are there any perks for
becoming a Beta Reader and
what exactly would they do
within this group?
